🚦 Voice for Reform — Launching Safety-Critical Automotive Tech
On November 27, JaduPc joined the Voice for Reform: Road Transport Policy Dialogue, where it introduced two major innovations aimed at reducing road casualties and enhancing real-time vehicle communication:
- AcciGone Blackbox
A compact Linux-powered device designed to:
- Record crash data in real time
- Analyze vehicular behavior before, during, and after collisions
- Support legal and insurance analysis with automated reporting
- Record crash data in real time
- AutoNet Revival
An initiative to bring back a vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) mesh network, enabling:
- Safer convoying in urban EVs
- Local traffic intelligence sharing
- Enhanced fleet management systems
- Safer convoying in urban EVs
These innovations are built on top of ShopnoOS and XenOS, aligning with JaduPc’s mission to build life-saving, locally-developed automotive technologies.
🔋 BEMA Seminar: Exposing Battery Risks in Local EVs
On November 28, at the Bangladesh Electric Mobility Association (BEMA) Seminar, JaduPc’s research team presented eye-opening data:
- Over 60% of lead-acid batteries in local EVs fail safety thresholds.
- Heat dissipation, leakage, and low-efficiency cells are causing frequent power loss and fire risks.
- Absence of proper Battery Management Systems (BMS) has become a critical hazard.
JaduPc called for a national-level intervention and standardization, alongside pushing for a transition to smarter lithium-powered platforms, managed through XenOS-integrated BMS.
🛠️ November R&D Breakthroughs
Following these forums, JaduPc’s engineering team doubled down on automotive technology development. Core milestones include:
- CAN Bus decoding and data visualization:
Successful real-time reception and display of ECU data on a custom-built Linux-based HUD. - Automotive Safety Stack Prototyping:
Development of embedded modules under XenOS, integrating crash sensing, location mapping, and CAN response logic. - Kernel-level work on ShopnoOS:
Modular support for kiosk-based displays and fleet diagnostics, improving deployments in both automotive and public service environments.
🌍 Looking Ahead
JaduPc believes the future of mobility and computing in Bangladesh must be open, secure, and homegrown. Through ShopnoOS and XenOS, JaduPc is not just building software — it’s building accessible computing platforms that serve people, protect lives, and empower local industries.
