💻 Launch of RHQMM Madrasa Computer Lab
In line with its mission to make computing accessible to all, JaduPc formally launched the RHQMM Madrasa Computer Lab Project — a rural education initiative aimed at digital inclusion.
Highlights:
- Powered by JaduPc Linux desktops running ShopnoOS with a Bengali-first interface.
- Pre-installed educational software and offline-accessible learning content.
- Designed for low-power environments with minimal internet connectivity.
This project demonstrates that affordable, open computing can empower underserved communities, bridging the digital divide in rural Bangladesh.
🚲 Strategic Dialogue on EV Safety & Battery Reform
Later that day, JaduPc met with Khoda Baksh Chowdhury, former Inspector General of Police, to discuss the growing safety crisis in electric rickshaws.
Key discussion points:
- Widespread use of unsafe, low-grade lead-acid batteries in battery-powered rickshaws.
- JaduPc’s proposal for an affordable Battery Management System (BMS) powered by XenOS to monitor voltage, temperature, and charging patterns.
- Need for policy reforms around EV component standards, incentivizing safe battery adoption.
